I did see where someone fixed a similar problem with a firmware update for their SSD drive, I have checked the manufacturers website, but sadly I was unable to find any firmware updates for the drive I have listed. Sound: Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio (On board) I know it is not a physical hardware issue (like dying hardware), because I went back to Windows 7 and there are no further issues. Though at that point the sound just quits working, and won't come back without a reboot. This issue happens even when just allowing the computer to sit at the desktop. There appear to be driver and/or hardware related issues that cause my sound to kick into a slow motion after awhile. Thus far, I have not been able to run Windows 10 for very long.
